Sudden Sleep

I slowly slip into sudden sleep
my mind makes memories I cannot keep.
I feel so empty, hungry for your words.
The malice melody sung by black birds.

They fly around, they sing that song,
with silent sound the night's so long.
I long to feel you next to me
But for now I'll let it be

I'll sleep away so that I can dream,
So that I can change this constant theme
into a different day, into something new
into the future where I'll be with you.

It sounds like you have lost someone close to you. I like it though. Keep up the good work!!! -Courtney-
