Such An Ordeal

to take eight pounds of dog on a plane
a trip in itself let me tell you
should I take its tooth brush I don't think so
but for sure I was glad to have an address
and a vet who cost me up the wazoo
to have me stand in the middle of nowhere
at seven thirty in the morning and waiting an hour to be first in line
and realized I was number two and a conversation ensued with Ireland
he got refused and asked me the trick driving me out of hell
to the next subway station as his vet forgot to endorse something
as he paid his due and told him giggle google and harass your vet
costa rica behind us was confident learning the hard way two years ago
