Submission

She was
all compassion,
her softness his delight-
as pliancy in power,did
alight

gosh, Brian, I'm not at home where my Bible is, but I can imagine some women in the Bible that fit this description. Thanks for your comments to me! Andrea

Brian, people could go several different ways with this one without reading the scriptures and even with the reading of the scriptures there are many conclusions that can be drawn. God created all things for man even woman. She was the part of him that he needed(XX +XY notice one leg missing). The ground is level at the foot of the cross. The man is not above or below the woman nor she him. Both should submit to God then to each other in love. It is not easy for we all have our faults. Sara

D ear Brian, I have many views on this subject. Widom and Knowledge to me equate to the same power and submission and pliancy by one to the - other, makes that one, equate to less. That is just my opinion. I am, what you might call an gnostic Christian. Sincerely, Elaine
