Style

Set your mind well on rhymes that fit,
Tell of sure plots where heart knows best;
Yield thoughts that dwell on poignant wit,
Love frames the lot in brilliant quest;
Effect and cause start with clear thought.
Feel calming poise that flavours trust,
Observe wise course that peace marks dots;
Nurture a voice with fragrant musk,
Dream of grand things where love funds air.
Sense sure seeing with bold feelings,
Meet sensuous spring in sweet affairs;
Invite being to forge dreaming,
Live and love grand and be a friend,
Etch lasting trends as goodness can.

Let me share with you the construct of this poem: 1) This to me, is an Acrostic sonnet 2) There are 15 lines 3) There is an internal rhyme scheme at the fourth syllable, and end syllable 4) The acrostic for each first letter of each line read downwards reads: “STYLE FOND SMILES” Hope this helps you enjoy the poem even more.
