Stygian Consciousness

The world is a very strange and dark place,
But my mind is even darker.
Never underestimate the power of a dark mind,
This dark world is not all what it's cracked up to be.
And I for sure know my mind isn't peaches and cream,
I've walked thru the hot fiery pits of Hell.
But my own personal hell has only just begun,
Never underestimate the power of a dark mind,
It keeps me running a marathon all the time.
The race of my dark mind is not coming to an end.
For me to reach the finished line,
would be an absolute miracle.
But my dark mind is who I am today,
The comfeyness of my not so peaches and cream life in my own fiery pits of hell.
No one to blame but myself,
But what else is new?
Everything is always my fault
