Stunned With Love

a stunning joy
a peaceful place
warm hands rest on my belly
he's in there
shocked we lay quiet in the afternoon sun
whispering
reverent
blankets around us
dogs sniffing your hair
coming into our lives a son so loved so wanted
stunned with love we make noises
and we sleep
