Stuffed Pasta Treat
Tortellini stuffed with cheese and spinach
Divine when coated with Alfredo cheese sauce
But not with some kind of beefy gravy finish
When those shells are cooked just tender
Light and delicate easily cut with a simple fork
Coated with Alfredo I completely surrender
Sometimes when stuffed with three cheeses
Topped with Marinara of such beautiful color
My eyes, tongue, and tastebuds it pleases
It is even better when the family visits
And on that day I have stuffed Tortellini
Stuffed pastas that really have their merits
