Notes About The Poem

This is my first attempt at this form. a Epulaeyu consists of 7 lines with a syllable count of 7,5,7,5,5,3,1. the poem also has to describe food. Here I am giving away an old family secret and recipe. I you like artichokes (Stuffed) try adding some salami for a tasty treat. Enjoy!

Stuffed Artichokes,- Yum Yum

Preparing stuffed artichokes 
My mom's recipe 
Breadcrumbs, garlic, salami 
Stuff (ALL) the leaves 
Steam them on low heat 
Three-four hours 
Eat!

Yes, I think you are right. Perhaps 1-2 hours. It's been a while since I made them...they are tasty. Enjoy!
