Stuck in the middle

No, it’s not fully the day
       Nor it’s the night yet
I am a bit sleepy
      Not fully awake yet
The moon hid behind the clouds
     The sun is not out yet
Who calls my name?
     No one is seen yet
She liked me from yonder—
    Haven’t touched my heart yet
No yearning, no longing—
    It is not fully love yet
I am dying little by little—
    Haven’t lived my life yet
Neither a Saint nor a Satan—
    I am struggling to be a man yet;

O Lord, hold my place in heaven
    I am not out of the hell yet.
