Stuck In a Christmas Globe
Petite faerie princess with red and white stockings
Pirouetting for forty years inside her Christmas Globe.
Her short red velvet dress accentuating her trim waist.
Faded white fur at the collar and along the skirt.
Enjoyed by the children of her first child's children's children.
A little dowdier now, not perky like before.
But optimistic that at least one more child
Will appreciate her pretty smile and her dancing ways.
Unfortunately when they cleaned the house she was dumped
She began to yell as loudly as she could.
“I am stuck in a Christmas globe! But I am alive.”
Unfortunately, her screams were not heard.
