Stuck

Flat tire in the rain without a spare
    on the downside of the hill, rush hour,
        no one gives a flip
            new shoes

Fatal car accident on the way to be baptised

A look inside comes up empty

Cell phone inside locked car
    middle of the desert
        stuck in the sand
           3:00 a.m.  99°
              without water
                 barefoot
                    cactus
                       snakes

~~~
Without you.
