Stuck

Laying down
On the floor
Eyes up at the ceiling

Fidgeting fingers
Anxiety creepin' in
Building fire drill
In my body
Pressured
To do something useful

Whilst depression
Lay on me
Like a rock
Flattenin' my spirit
To even move

Fighting
For God' sake
Let me do make today
Something useful
For me to be proud of

At least I am relieved
Properly done
Before going to dreamland

Being pinned on both sides
No win
All the down losin'
Wastin' time
Sinkin' into sands
Of the hourglass

No wantin'
On my deathbed
Bearin' outta luck
Overflowin' regrets
Endless pain

Please get your hands
Off me
Beggin' for mercy
Lettin' me do time
For myself
Family and friends

Keep on rolling
So much
Ya hatin' me
