Struggling Today
I am struggling today
That is what it feels like
The moment we saw came
Though never came between us
My progress feels shattered
Disjointed, broken and bruised
Lost in a moments bravery
I am floored, lifeless and mute
Wrestling with guilt
Misgivings, abused by angst
I flight these bloody demons
I fight as I always fight
Still, I have not abandoned hope
Come soon I can let myself free
Where my moment will exist
Not able to be eaten away
