Stronger
She says I'm stronger
Thinking herself weak
Yet she survived cancer
And me, I just got beat
She says she looks up to me
"Why" is still one big mystery
In her many attempts to stay alive
Never once lost hope
When I think of her
Still get knots in my throat
You'd think there'd be no debate
Who has suffered the most
She has loved life and me
Just hanging by the ropes
She takes pity on me
For I have no sense of pride
Makes it hard
To look her in the eyes
While she stood up to fight
I cowardly bent
While she prayed to survive
The Life Roulette
I'd continue to spin...
She calls me brave
She says I'm stronger
She fought and beat death, but me
Just another life squandered
