Strong relationships

Strong relationships,
Only remain strong,
If inner strength is searched for and found,
And we do not let others confound,
Or lack of interest compound,
As too many of us have found,
When relationships,
Are found to be no longer strong,
With no us to be found,
And the only sounds,
That abound, 
Are loud enough to drown relationships,
That were once strong,
With sorrow to compound, 
All because lack of interest was found,
Where inner strength did once abound.

So many wonderful poets on the soup who find ways to encourage and celebrate great poetry. I use this form along with other forms that give hope, a sense of of fun or are informative. I try to place hope in most of my poems. Although warnings of danger end up in a number of my poems. Carp diem seize the day is another form I like. Best wishes David in NZ
