Strong One

I’ve Never
Seen so many
Tears come	from
Such a	firm,
Beauti- ful girl.
Just a	poke.
Just a	smile.
And her laugh-
Strikes a laugh.

          A strange, subtle moment
            But she somehow
	       Makes
	           It
	        Look
	        Good.
	Under her Spell-
         Powerless against her charm

       Unique strand
     Super human
  Powers-
  Block
  Your
  Mind,
     She can see
        Through you.

               That voice
            Oh! She’s got
       a voice and she
     isn’t af- raid to
     use it. The next
    leader of a nation
     of many. She will
         be heard. She will
             be followed.

	But for
	now, she
	still fits
 	within my
	arms. She
	still smiles
	bigger than
	vast oceans.
                     Always, the
	best sunsets happen here.
	She chooses their colors.

       I love my brave little
       Devil. I admire her
       courage.
       unafraid.
       She’ll be perfectly
       Fine when she
       Grows
       Older.
       But I’ll follow slow.
       To catch each soft fall.
