Strong In the Current

Standing up
Isn't a walk in the park
And once you are on your feet
Things just get harder

But if you have the gut
To stand up
The you better fight
Don't you ever let them push you down

Cause once you're standing
In this current rushing by
You are the hope for people
And you just have to be strong

And sometime or another
You are going to want to quit
But you just can't
Because the current will carry you away if you step down

Sometimes being special sucks
But it isn't about who tried and failed
It's about who was left standing
When the water slowed 

It's about who had the gut
The fight and strength
Being the one who didn't loose their footing
It's about standing up

John Loving Iii December 11, 2009 at 1:29 PM so very true. and yes being special isn't all it cracked up to be at times but when your needed to step up dont hesitate. just do what your heart beacons. john
