Strong Are the Cancer Survivors

You hear that knock on the door And you dont want to open Never You know what's on the other side Cancer Disease But Its there, already in Ready to steal, ready to rob Fierce And Its ready to take away the loved one That friend That life Squeezing out the last air But that loved one, in their young and old In their strength and weakness Leaves a fountain of beautiful memories That will always flow For us For others. To all the survivors whether in death or life

If only they could all survive. Perhaps money spent on weapons might be better spent battling Cancer? Kind regards Ian

Very true. All the money they spend on weapons and war could be used for a good cause like research on drugs. Thank a zillion times for the visits Ian. God bless

I agree with you. Cancer is the most scary disease to me. Its a thief!!!!!. Thanks for you visiting me.

I can relate to this so much Njeri - my husbands cancer started me writing poetry only in November 2013 and i posted my first poem here just over a year ago. It is now my lifeline as my father is terminally ill with this cruel disease - a fountain of beautiful memories i will have once the tears stop:-) Hugs Jan a 7 from me:-) Hugs Jan xx
