Strive To Display Holy Peace
This verse poses much to ponder
for this peace, needs be sought
striving through every muscle felt
to be victorious has to be fought
The target of living peaceably with all
needs God's grace to plentiful abound
for people bring challenges aplenty
but hope in Christ is mercifully found
In all of this God commands holiness
this godly character is a required must
God's high standards display his glory
for his place must always be first
This holiness of God brings reward
that being seeing God in your sight
without such character you've no view
the Lord leaves one in the night
So live in the peace of God
showing everyone the nature of the Lord
holiness being the believer's true mark
then we see clearly Lord's sure word
( Hebrews 12:14
"Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see the Lord.")
