Strings

Why are you holding tight, to the strings of life? What's so good about it? Same black and white. In mom's eyes, love that lies deep. My father, still carrying those incomplete dreams. Want to find that silence, which ends my abyss. Wanna see the next snow fall, from spring to the autumn call. Friends, whom i said goodbye yesterday. There are many unheard talks on the bay. Our sleepover is still on that paper plane. Wanna meet them again. Best friends from school, haven't seen them in ages. Those bedtime lullabies, still in my head on yellow pages. Many lost things that i haven't found yet. And my pending notes that i forget. There are reasons to stay; one day, even they'll fade away. So I'm holding tight to the strings of life.

You've captured the anxiety of impending loss so well! I also love how the last line "ties" everything together.
