Strife

Crawling through the street
Wondering who you’ll meet
Hearing unknown prayers
and whispers of despair
Coming here
You smell the fear
Whisper back
It’s our turn to attack
Join together
We are each others tether
Now let’s run away
To see a better day
And triumph over
This hostile takeover
We’ll grace the land
With our united hand
And take back our life
By ending all the strife.
