Strictly Forbidden
Have been writing poems and then waited
For your poets to soon become infatuated
With all of my poems each and every one
I will post to Poetry Soup when are done.
At first poems weren't completely perfected
Waiting for by Poetry Soupers to be bisected
Then super pooper dupers they then became
And you as well and also can do the same.
Like a moron to other poets this may sound
Was up in air until feet finally hit the ground
So I started writing poems page after page
Invented rhyming haiku which is latest rage.
If rules are to be broken I did to them all
Never beat around bush or plane start to stall
Took right off and ended up in the fast lane
Had them check for cholesterol in each vein.
Your attention now was in complete control
And something crept by causing a big toll
Wrote more poems with misguided magic wand
To others absurd comments had to respond.
With sure-fired Poetry Soupers I did consult
Another Poem of the Day was final result
Somewhere in haiku rules they say is hidden
One saying rhyming haiku is strictly forbidden.
