Strength

Strength There comes a time when our strength is put to the test, And all we can hope for and do is our best. Then there are those times when we feel we can’t go on, We become separated and withdrawn. But then from somewhere deep within, We slowly pull ourselves up and begin. To heal and strengthen our mind and heart, And all of our pain and sorrow starts to depart. It doesn’t happen overnight or weeks, And there is no manual or technique. But with every passing day and night, We start to overcome and fight. There will come a day when your heart is at peace, And all the hurt and sorrow you feel will cease.
