Streets of solitude
let’s say it like it is
no one else can feel
zing of bliss magnetism
that imparts zest and zeal
alone in midst of many
we share but none can pair
rapture within that rises
of consciousness self-aware
life as impulsed unfolds
we play our role as ordained
yet from fears and desires
soul’s been long since unchained
we see through subterfuge
with a kindly eye
within each form we see
God’s presence draw nigh
vibrant in aloneness
as we are breathed day and night
boundaries blur, clear light dawns
betwixt bliss beat’s delight
both immanent and transcendent
encased in feeble form
how may we delineate
our heart’s toroidal storm
