Street Youth

There are children out there with nowhere to go

Who have to sit and freeze out in the snow

They are the next victims of the street

With nowhere to go but bad people to meet

They are like the dead who have been forgot

With no warm homes or proper food that is hot

Instead they get sucked into doing drugs

Or even transformed into terrible child thugs

These children once loved in a good home

Left out on the streets to live on their own

So tell me the truth, is this what you wanted?

A world of children whose thoughts get haunted

Haunted by abuse and their drugs illusions

By the alcohol and the phony delusions

That their dreams are nothing but hopeless

And their poor lives are totally wasted

You tell me what you were thinking

When saw one and could almost see their hopes sinking
