Street Fighting Man
Why are you so lost wandering about what only seems
With a heart of frost it is not what ones self so deems
Why so filled with doubt when the occasion needn't be
Why are you fighting this bout when you can't even see
What should be a bridge within two different generations
Has now become a ridge sitting back taking notations
Why did you ever leave and why didn't you ever return
For one can only grieve in knowing you will never learn
The whole collapse being caused as so many have felt
The whole thing now paused hoping memories will melt
Why? Out there in the cold why don't you just come in
For soon you too will be old sitting there still in that sin
Being told over and over again to kneel down and pray
Such a lost pack a men not knowing they lost their way
But I know His Grace and His overwhelming love for you
And if it does take place you will certainly know it's true
Saul... the Christian killer, who became Paul the Apostle
and went on to be the most prolific writer in the Bible
including the Book of Revelation... He knew it true.
