Streams flowing into a river

     Streams flowing into a river
        ebbing and flowing
        rising and falling
     The river separating them
                     back into streams

      Many lives merging
         into one lifeline
      accounting for everything
         and nothing
                  at the same time

      Personalities rubbing, chafing
         inexorably blending
       in psychosomatic asynchrony
         yet linked inextricably
                               with heaven

      Streams flowing into a river
        The river separating them out
                    back into streams…

This is deep, Gershon. An exquisite poem. Hope your Shabbat is serene. Shalom :)

Loved how you associated the " streams into a river to "Many lives merging into one lifeline..." "Linked with Heaven" Life's cycle for both. Clever Free Verse with associated dual meanings linked to heaven. Well thought Gershon and much appreciated by me to read. Have a nice day my friend and thank you for the effort in writing...

oh, you meandering metaphorist. The eternal cycle of departure and returns...

And at the airport --- arrivals and returns... and at the department store -- thefts and no returns. ~ Many happy returns, John.
