I planted a bed of strawberries this year. This picture accurately represents the total of my harvest. Hopefully, next year will be better. I will read them this poem every day for inspiration. Have a nice day.

But think of next year Jerry! The plants will throw out runners this year, peg them down into the soil and you will double your plant stock and in time they will yield strawberries too!:-) hugs Jan xx

Strawberries always reminds me of Wimbledon tennis , its traditional for people to eat them there - I expect the cost is astronomical though, I'm lucky I grow my own lol:-) hugs Jan xx

The strawberries have all but finished - think the dry weather didn't do the plants any favours even though I tried watering them at night the ground was so dry, I do have a huge crop of raspberries though and you'd be welcome any day - would love to meet if I ever get across the pond:-) hugs Jan xx
