STRADIVARIUS

longingly, eyes look on with lust; the luster lavished on the polished violin - the Stradivarius as if hourglass-shaped. the sigh of sex upon the inanimate, animated by man. the shudder, the gulp of two bonded in sin - its possession. the greed, the tingle of melodic light, as the bow mambos a c r o s s the strings. the instrument and the violinist, necking and naked. she’s well-preserved, reserved for the elite.

A tantalizing, ooh-la-la mon cherie, exposé of your Stradivarius, Kim. Wonderful articulations that proffers a dynamic shine that appropriates its glamorous model. Your composition harmonize earlobes that faintly resounds its inner drums, and embarces a suite with a dignified exhaltation. I'm amazed of your perceptions that derived such elegant decency, my friend. A brilliant Fave for me, Cheers. Aloha, William

Kim, your poem is a masterful blend of sensuality and music. All three of my grown daughters play violin, and one is a High School orchestra director. I must say that your vivid imagery and evocative language bring to life the intimate relationship between the musician and the instrument. The rhythm of your verses echoes the melody played on the violin, creating a symphony of words that leaves the reader spellbound. A genuinely mesmerizing piece! - Blessings, Danie

I'm in awe, Kim. Comparing a violinist and the act of playing the violin as a sexual act was brilliant...gave me pause as I recognize the two become one. This poem is engaging at every turn. Masterfully done, Kim! enjoy your evening, Sara

Kim, Thank you for the kind words regarding "The Wrack Line". It prompted me to look at your work and I am so glad I did. Stradivarius is bridging the space between so many emotions.
