Story of my life As he walked in the room it lit up He made it seem like time stopped He was like the sun on a cloudy day The room went dead silent When he spoke his voice boomed He spoke and everyone listened He was the world to me It was ALMOST love at first sight Like Cinderella descending the staircase He had me seeing stars Then boom I fell to my doom He took what I had left of me He kept my heart in an iron prison With no way to escape In its impossible captivity Many useless ways to escape My heart cried out in pain With sorrow and grief evident I could have died of heartbreak My heart useless to fight anymore Is there any escape? -CS
