Story of My Dad

His heavy make up on his face
Something that I have to praise
His sprinkled gold dress at night
Inspires me to find my own path of light.

They used to fear him when the sun turns to clown
His fierce look scares the whole crowd in town
People don’t know who he really is
He is a man wearing a classic red lips.

A colorful life in center of the stage
But he’s a lonely man locked in his cage
Behind of his shameless pretty looks
He gives me the best and positive outlook...

So I’m not ashamed to tell the world
I will spend my life with him till he gets old
Admire his courage to face all types of pain
I’m a proud son watching him shining.

Note: Whatever is his sexuality, it doesn't matter to me as long he's there for me

This is if not a good time at least a much better time for you and your dad. Your dad should be proud of his son.

Thank you for being in my contest. Of course there is no better person to cling to and remain constant with than a great dad.

Wow...what a beautiful tribute to your dad, kabayan. Any parent would be proud to read something from a son, how much more if its as touching as this! A 7! Ate Kim :) :)
