Stormy Nights
When the whether is rumbling,
And the night lights up with flashes of light,
We hear the wind blow,
Harder than usual,
Water comes from the sky,
Pouring down like a waterfall,
It may scare some of us,
And excite others,
It brings us joy and relief,
Knowing cooler temps are close,
Could be around the bend,
After the rain is long gone,
If nothing else,
We know the plants and crops,
Are getting what they need,
To make them grow into a beautiful site,
However, when it rains,
It makes us sleep,
Like babies most of the time,
Causing it is calming,
To us all,
To the point,
We may not hear any dangers,
That maybe coming,Yet the more rain we get,
The better the crops,
That we an eat,
And all we can stow,
But we shall never take for granted,
What Mother Nature can do,
Cause with just a strong blow from her wind,
Can cause more damage,
That can cost us a lot,
Of our hard working money,
To repair things back,
The way they were,
So never take what you have,
Or the one's you love,
For granted in your life,
For it is all a blessing,
And a gift,
Which can be taken from you,
At any given day,
For if it is God's will,
It will be yours till your dying day,
This is His given gift, still.
