Storms of Life

When blue skies turn dark and gray;
It means a storm is on its way.
Storms can cause stress and strain;
But crops don’t grow without some rain.
So, you must choose your point of view.
In storms of life, you can fuss and stew;
Or you can choose to dance in the rain
And sing; for the sun always shine's again.

I so choose to dance. Sometimes I get a little lost in the stew, but then... Wonderful piece. Well done. Ann

Hello Kennth Cheney, Love this poem. Yes we have a choice in life we can be both ways. I like the rain. It is liquid sunshine for the earth. to grow food and plants. enjoy your day my friend.

I have a notion that this can be applied to storms of temper -- the growth that comes out of them when people make up can be elevating... and yet, I much prefer your rainstorms message!! Thanks, gw
