Storms

As the thunder rolled and the sky's grew stronger,
the clouds came in and made it last longer.
The air was rich with feelings to come,
knowing not where they'd emerge from.
My heart it pounded with every boom,
staying close by the window in my room.
So fascinating and beautiful I sat still as it shook my place,
it had a temper and made its case.
Wisping and clashing the lightening came close,
bright as the stars striking a pose.
Down they came so vivid with spite,
growing with fury into the night.
