Storm Dancer

Storm Dancer

I am not afraid of the storm;
I have no desire for the norm.
Let me make it perfectly clear;
Trouble is not what I fear.
I have no intentions to follow the crowd;
I speak my truths loud and proud.
A keeper of peace is not my place;
Some pray and some efface.
I will not change who I was raised to be;
To become another's devotee.
I embrace the lightning in my veins;
A family trait that should remain.
May angels and sages bless you;
In all days in life you travel through.
May Thunderers guide me with fire;
For I am the storm and not a pacifier.
