Storm & Strife

Beautiful ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ look ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ storm and strife,
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ murmurs of tumultuous life.
¦¦¦¦¦ all is still as ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ the tree,
¦¦¦ wood, ¦¦¦ sunshine ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ no ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ thought of ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ night
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ steal ¦¦¦¦ the ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ light,
No ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ humanity ¦¦¦ here.

Here ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ mortal ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ light ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ peasant-boy
¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ look, ¦¦¦ almost ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ joy--
Still ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ centuries ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ stay.
¦¦¦¦ gaze again, ¦¦¦¦ shadowed scenes ¦¦¦ teach
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ peace and love, beyond all ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
