Storm

A blinding flash across the sky,
   As thunder follows,one by one
   Dark fenzied cloudbursts quickly cry
.
Cool winds that started with a sigh,
Now shriek and howl, their leash undone
A blinding flash across the sky
,
   Crestfallen trees prepare to die,
The wrath of nature has begun.
   Dark frenzied cloudbursts quickly cry,

   Creating rain that will ally,
   Cascading floods to overun.
A blinding flash across the sky,

The storm now raging, hell is nigh.
High winds destroying as they run.
    Dark frenzied cloudbursts quickly cry,

Their tears now hail in blizzards eye.
As dawn arrives, the rising sun
Burns off the mist across the sky.
Dark clouds have passed, the soft winds cry.
