Storm

The Storm

No more a gentle breeze that flutters
Tie things down and close the shutters
Autumn trees have lost their leaves
This blustery wind twists and weaves
Stronger now, so intense and bold
Grabbing things and taking hold
Throwing items in the air
Breaking things without a care
Worse again, trees are crashing
At the beach, waves are lashing
Howling, screaming.
Rain is teaming.
Frightening!
Lightening!

(Pause)

Then calm, silence, peace at last
Stillness now, the storm has passed.
