Stop To Listen

For Bently: 5/21/11-9/13/11

I'm reaching out to you
With open arms.
You don't care about
What I'm going through.

I've been calling
For your help
But you never even stopped
To listen.

I've been crying
For a long time...
Tears of just a simple girl.

So do you stop
To hear a poor girl's
Cries? Or do
You ignore them?

I've been calling
For your help
But you never even stopped
To listen.

These tears of
Pain have burned
Me. No longer
Can I smile.

My pain is real now
No longer shall there
Be happiness
Within me.

I've been calling
For your help
But you never even stopped
To listen

Listen to me calling...
Calling.... Pleading....
Help me,
I still need you.

Please help me,
It's too much
For my fragile
Mind to bear.

You pushed and
Strived vor power,
But in your struggle,
You've lost it all.

I've been calling
For your help
But you never even stopped
To listen.

Can you hear me?
Hear me calling?

I need you,
Need to hear
Your voice,
To be in your arms.

Don't walk away
From the mess
You've created.
Fix me first.

I'm calling,
Calling for you
Calling for you to help
Calling for you to help me.
But you don't care.

I've been crying
Been bleeding
For you.
Please help me.

I've been calling
For your help
But you never even stopped
To listen.

Never even stopped to listen...

I enjoyed reading your poetry this afternoon Heaven. I am reading today and hoping to find some inspiration to write. I had a run a week or so ago and now it wimped out on me. Thank you for posting your poetry and sharing it with others. Love, Carol
