Stop, Don'T Come In

Stop!
Don't open the door,
my warped body in agony is lying on the floor.

The sight of me will disgust you,
you will run away if you find out the truth.

This act can no longer continue,
I hate myself and I will hate you too.

You bring afloat the memories carefully buried inside me,
you can see through the facade and touch the real me.

Your love is real,
it makes me feel surreal.
If you come any closer you will find out,
the monster that resides within me when lights out.

I have nothing good to give you,
you stepped over the boundaries I carefully drew.
You are so resilient it makes me sick,
you make me so happy it's like magic.

So I beg you please don't open the door,
the truth that it hides not everyone can adore.
You will always stay special to me,
you will forever be my source of glee.

Thanks for sharing this. By God's grace, I greet you with the peace and joy of Christmas toward a prosperous New Year along this present: "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23 of the King James Bible). God bless you.
