Stop Complaining

The pain is for real, the pain exists within
Yet others have exits within their reach
Do we practice what we preach?
The gap widens and deepens with each passing sun-set
Let's bridge the differences we have
Acknowledge that each is different on their own

Learn to be thankful, for one can't afford a place
Where their heads can rest
Come to the streets and see the pain within
A mother and her children sleep on the corridors of the shops
With the passing cold on their skin
They hug each other for family heat
Since we ignorant for what we have
We still find a way to complain things we can forgo

So before you fold your tongue, make sure your mouth is closed
Let your eyes see the pain and the struggles one goes through
Their despair can be heard by a keen ear
Only God knows their spiritual worries
God comforts them with love that the world can't give us
Before you complain show appreciation for the little you have
