Stop and See

Watch as your children grow, as your
garden grows, as the seasons change.
Watch as you learn, as you begin
to understand and can see.
Listen to the world talking, not the
grinding, metallic modern noise.
Listen to the birds, the trees, the
animals as they teach you to see.
Think about the path you’ve chosen,
the lives affected, the dreams come and gone.
Think about relations, find you soul mate,
be happy and learn to see.
Act as if today were the last day
to express love, sorrow, joy or bliss.
Act in a positive, forward moving
manner, so others will stop and see.
