Stop and Chat For a While

~ I once met a leaf of a brilliant green waving at me as I walked to the gate I wanted to stop and chat for a while but didn’t have time, it was getting late Springtime had passed, summer was blazing there was that leaf looking wilted and tired I wanted to stop and chat for a while heading to work, didn’t want to get fired Autumn had come, the weather much cooler that little green leaf was beginning to change I wanted to stop and chat for a while but a meeting was coming I had to arrange Winter was here with a blustery welcome I noticed the leaf on the ground in a pile I said, “Sorry, but it was so nice to meet you” maybe next spring we can chat for a while ~

We are always so busy to stop and pay attention to our surroundings. We do need to take the time tomorrow may never come... Good write

To me this says take time to chat with those leaves in your world for time goes quickly, seasons change. Once it’s gone it’s gone ... another poem with a very sad feel today, still a wonderful write as always my friend :) hugs

Thank you Sandy. Maybe a little sad but I was really just having a little fun. But you are right, we should all slow down a bit and take the time to do the things we have been putting off because you may not have the time again.
