Stop Abuse

A small baby came to be crying
A teenage girl came to me bleeding
I saw a passing woman full of blood
Like a shivering person she was weeping

I tried to ask what happened
But all I got was silence
My dear god where do we run to?
We run to the side of our mothers and find physical abuse

We run to the side of our fathers and find sexual abuse
We run to the side of our friends
and relatives and find emotional abuse
Trying to raise our voices we get a slap

My dear god what do we do?
when I ask my self that question something comes up
My dear nation I think we should be taught empathy and kindness
Yes we ,I mean the united nation

LET'S UNITE LET'S BE TOGETHER AND FIGHT ABUSE

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God bless you.
