Stone

If I was a stone,what stone would i be,
A tiny little pebble as small as a pea.
Warm to the touch
Streams of purple in the light
I think you would want to pick me up just at the sight
Small enough to drift along with the current
I would travel around the world to bring out the best of me
You'd wonder where i've been
And
Of course, All that i've seen
You might even wake as if only a dream
Im free where i'm going
Taking in the the suns pure light
My hearts full of exploring
From morning till night
So i dare you to chance
To grab hold of this tiny pebble
And
Maybe
Just Maybe, you'll get to see all the beauty within me

Wonderful creative writing today Dina. I will be back soon to read more if the gremlins in PoetrySoup will permit. Love, Carol
