Stolen Moments of Grace

exhausted
she lay on the bed
arms over her head
shut her eyes to the gathering dusk
wishing for softness in sound
and touch
she drifted away
stolen moments of grace

Wow, that is exactly how I felt when my kids were all still living at home. Stolen moments can be uplifting at times and exhausting at the same time.
