Stolen Melodies

Melodies roll off a tilted tongue hits from years long gone you speak in words rhyming the past with a longing pride I look down under and lose it all our song, played behind a hidden dawn the jackrabbits scurry when I near I can still smell her deceit in your fear Fly away now my hyperalergen ointments bought in an open market fail to impress me, no longer undress me with hidden eyes meant for another's side sorry my broken sparrow your delicate heart breathes life but I can't love you, eventhough these tears say otherwise you have a wife @please stop the soupmail cloaked one we can never be

I like this poem. It is sadness but with strength. Real life scenario played out in words you wrote?

oh oh, raw. Good for you to tell this married one to be off with himself. You sound more like the broken sparrow with a delicate heart, but don't be sad. One day you will meet a handsome one who won't make your tears fall or have you needing Claritin. PS Sounds like you need a new location...come up from down under.
