S.T.L.S.

I'd like to think you notice me.
I'd like to think you care.
I would like to imagine you with me.
I'd like to think that no one else could compare.

But that would be too simple.
It would be too naive.
Like my love for you creates a ripple.
You're too far away to believe.

Just give me one clue.
Hand me one sign.
That tells me we're not through.
That we're not benign.

I'd like to think that you aren't ignorant.
I'd like to think that you are not blind.
I would like to think that you weren't indignant.
I'd like to think that you kept me in mind.
