Stirring Summer
Anacreontic verse
Stirring summer
summer is smile
smile with joy
joy and hope
hope for best.
Early sunrise
sunrise and birds
birds sing
sing to flowers
flowers smile.
Longer days
days with fun
fun in sun
sun is bright
bright all day.
Beaches busy
busy are tides
tides so high
high in sky
sky all blue.
Golden ball
ball turns red
red is sky
sky gets stars
stars visit night.
