Stirred

STIRRED
I had a glad awakening,
When life's pool was stirred,
By hearing the sweet trilling
From a little yellow bird.

When life's pool was stirred,
A ripple of joy to ponder,
From a little yellow bird
Singing praises of splendor.

A ripple of joy to ponder,
This bird was a joy to hear
Singing praises of splendor,
Brought to my heart good cheer.

This bird was a joy to hear
It's music became a blessing
Brought to my heart good cheer,
I had a glad awakening.

I like birds also. My favorite is the Magpie, with their lovely warble. Have written several on them. In the summer I have 3 that visit me every day, waiting for me to give them a meaty treat. Blessings again, Vivien.
